Job Title:- Software Engineer

Qualification:- Graduate (or) Post Graduate

Gender:- Female/Male

Experience:- Fresher/Experience

Salary:- 20000 to 30000 pm

Key Areas of Responsibility:  

• Responsible for working on design and development of new features.
• Help with resolving internally and externally generated Defect Reports (DRs). Support must be provided on Linux (Both 32bit and 64bit).
• Additional client platform (such as HP/UX, AIX) supports as needed.
• Participate in design, code, test and documentation of feature enhancements as needed.
• Write technical documents that accurately describe unit test plans and reports.Execute tests according to approved test plans.
• Aptitude for understanding complex software from the functional and technical perspective.
• Report progress against objectives on periodic basis

Scope:

1.Individual contributor
2.Works with project team members, reports to engineering manager

Work Environment:
1. Software Support and Development

Key Competencies/Skills:
 Strong programming skills with C.
 Software debugging experience in Unix.
 Ability to learn and adapt to new technology 
 Attention to detail
 Ability to follow documented specifications and plans with some supervision
 Good verbal and written communication skills
 Works well in a team environment

The following skills are desirable but not required:

 SQL
 Teradata database knowledge
 Clearcase version control, GIT
 Java, Perl
