Job Description

Linguistic Annotator :
Provide semantic and syntactic annotations for text samples; 
utterances directed at a virtual assistant, may also transcribe utterance text from audio.
specific annotation tasks/applications may include named entity recognition, alias identification/generation, and canonical entity linking; part of speech tagging; constituency parsing; depending parsing; sentence or intent classification; semantic analysis; and other application-specific; propriety text annotation tasks.

Key Qualifications:

Native Level Fluency and language skills in US English is required in both spoken and written form.
Strong grasp of spelling and grammar in US English
Mastery of linguistic and cultural nuances of US English, including cultural immersion.
Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Adept at working with large data sets with an ability to identify patterns.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in small and large cross functional teams.

Highly desired 
Prior linguistic annotation experience
Understanding of concepts in linguistic or languages studies
Comfortable working on a Mac computer environment, MacOS
Understanding of iOS and Siri Virtual assistant
Ability to review large data sets with high attention to detail
